This is Lucas. He's the last in our set of four and, frankly, some of our best work. Aside from being an absolute doll, he has personality for miles and is an all around, likable kid. He is ALWAYS smiling... that is, when he's not crying. That's really it for him: Smile or cry. Luckily, he smiles way more than he cries! He is our baby and I think it's funny how different things are for him. With the oldest, you rush, rush, rush... everything! Hurry and walk, hurry and talk, hurry and write your name, hurry and know your colors and animal sounds so I can show off to all my friends how smart you are.... Yeah, not so much with the fourth. We really didn't rush anything with him and I can tell a huge difference between Lu and our first. Andrew (#1) is always 'on,' always rushing, always bouncing from one thing to another, one room to another, one channel to another (a whole other post ENTIRELY!). Lu is different. He's a chill kind of kid, with a great c'est la vie attitude. He operates on his own time, in his own little world and I love him for that. We could all take a lesson from the four year old that has access to Nintendo DSs, Playstation (2 &3), computers, iPods, tvs, Wii... and chooses to roll cars on the wood floor. Today, I am going to roll cars with Lucas...
